  1. interactivity of networking, is going to change the 
  2. way we think about political institutions, and how 
  3. we think about community, and how we think 
  4. about representative democracy itself, the idea of 
  5. representative democracy. Democracy started as 
  6. the answer to kings and it meant that people went 
  7. to Washington or to Ottawa or wherever because, 
  8. they sent representatives there because they 
  9. themselves couldn‚Äôt go. Now we have the 
  10. opportunity to directly participate in political 
  11. decision-making and consensus-building and my 
  12. guess is that we are going to see a new way at 
  13. arriving at political decision-making that doesn‚Äôt 
  14. include representatives off in some far-off capital.
